Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using elephant.md ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

You must authenticate via GitHub or Google to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to content you publish on elephant.md. By publishing content with "public" or "unlisted" visibility, you grant elephant.md a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and cache your content as part of the Service.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not publish content that is illegal, promotes violence, contains malware, infringes on intellectual property rights, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. Burn Links

Burn links are provided as a convenience for sharing ephemeral content. We make no guarantees about the exact timing of content deletion. Do not rely on burn links for security-critical information sharing.

6. API & MCP Usage

The elephant.md API and MCP server are subject to rate limits. Automated access must respect these limits. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for abusive usage patterns.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. elephant.md shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
